For years, I've been writing business 'how to' guides at rpgreseller. The site never got good traffic which would allow me to do sales, but I did get recognized by other business leaders, and I got some contracts with them. It paid off in the end. However, I gotta pay for the server each month, and it takes so much TIME maintaining it and doing all that writing.
I found someone that will take over everything. It was never earning, so that seems fine by me.
In the future, I may do a forum that focuses on how to do business in China, then I may attract the import/export crowd.

Out of Debt
I took most of my pay check this month and paid off a credit card.
With the CC done, and college loan done, I am now out of debt.
I plan on trying to stay this way for a while, and want to avoid anything but equity investments. e.g. if I go into debt to buy a house, that's not actually so bad because in a worst case scenario, I can sell the house, which should be appreciating faster than my debt, and I'll be ahead.
I've been becoming very interested in the prospect of land and home ownership. Land can provide a lot of self sufficiency, and a home is a place to live. I could either pay rent forever, or eventually have my own place.
Home ownership is big on my list because I want to share a house with someone that needs a break, financially.
I'm not sure if I'll eventually settle down in China, or the USA. I work do damned hard that I just never find time to learn Chinese. I do carry an MP4 player which has lessons on it. I turn it on whenever I am traveling around somewhere. I have a tendency to forget it though =\

Give your man one of these.
This is an awesome gift. Period.
Cheap, but so freaking useful. I sometimes give these as gifts to my friends.
I carry the survival knife at all times. Mostly just use it as a knife or bottle opener.
The size and profile is perfect. I don't want a bulky knife in my pocket, I want a flat blade.
This fits the bill perfectly.

$3,800
Years ago, I took loans for college. After graduation, payment became due at $50 per month, and the interest came out to about $200 per year. In other words, 25% of my monthly payments were just going to interest alone instead of paying down the debt.
I decided this might be good for my credit score. A long history going on for years, of steady payments on a loan. Next month, the final payment will be done.
I will have paid $600 in interest on a loan for $3,800. That's around 15%.
It was nice being able to make such ridiculously low monthly payments. But what of my credit score?
Will I look like pure awesomeness? We'll find out.

The Frog Prince
Never before have I ever seen an animated movie with such deep meaning, never one which was so delicately written that a child would feel it were made just for them, as much as any adult.
That good. So good I tell my friends.
It gets my glowing review.

Dumbing Down of America
Interview with the author (watch the full thing). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6FKkWFHyi0&NR
Some very powerful statements.
The new world order doesn't want children to be creative, well educated, or critical thinking.
For several hundred years, there has been gradualism in the educational system, and movement toward 'regionalism' in government where what is good for an individual or a city does not matter. Wealth of well to do cities will be flattened out and distributed to other cities. Wealth of rich nations... yeah, that's happening too.
Regionalism is 'collectivism', is communism. Both capitalism and communism have a dark side. I fear that the dark side of America will make other dark times seem very small in magnitude.

- Corporations want employees that are 'school to work', and have no skills or options, just do the work and quit job hoping so much.
- Goverment wants citizens that don't question authority, and don't question what is best for them. They want non-thinking followers.
